Sonatrach makes seventh discovery

Sonatrach has made a new gas discovery with its Tirechoumine Nord-1b well. The well is located in Block 340a in the Ahnet basin in Algeria.
The well reached a depth of 2,750 meters and gas flow is estimated at 4,532 cubic meters at 450 psi on a 32/64” choke.
This is Sonatrach’s seventh discovery in 2007.
